Olathe East Certified Athletic Trainer
Erin Washington enters her first year as athletic trainer at Olathe East High School. Employed by Olathe Health Sports Medicine, Erin provides injury prevention, evaluation, assessment, and rehabilitation for the Olathe East student-athletes. Erin has been a certified athletic trainer since graduating from the University of Kansas in 2009. She maintains her First Aid/CPR/AED certification in both ARC and AHA, as well as CPR instructor certification in both associations. Erin has been a presenter at the 2019 Brain Injury Association Concussion seminar and is currently secretary of the Kansas City Athletic Trainers Society. Erin was born and raised in Kansas and looks forward to working in the same community that she lives. The past 7 years she was the athletic trainer for Belton School District, employed by Belton Regional Medical Center. Erin and her husband, Maurice live in Olathe and enjoy going on adventures with their 2 sons Will (10) and Wade (7) and watching them play sports.
